Installation Guidelines
- Ensure the ends of the PVC-U drainage pipes and the inner surface of the elbow sockets (including the inspection port area) are clean, dry, and free of debris.
- Apply a uniform layer of PVC-U solvent cement to the outer surface of the pipe ends and the inner surface of the elbow sockets.
- Immediately insert the pipes into the elbow sockets, ensuring they are fully seated and held in place for a few seconds to allow the cement to set.
- Allow the solvent cement to cure completely as per the manufacturer’s instructions before testing the drainage system. Ensure the inspection port is properly sealed after any maintenance checks.
