Usage Instructions

1. Ensure the equipment (pumps, valves, rotating machinery) is shut down and isolated from all power sources before beginning the installation process.
2. Remove the old packing (if present) and thoroughly clean the packing chamber to remove any debris, residue, or old sealing material.
3. Cut the JIMING aramid packing to the required length, ensuring clean, square cuts for optimal sealing. Use appropriate tools suitable for cutting aramid material.
4. Install the packing into the packing chamber, layer by layer, ensuring each layer is properly seated and aligned. For square section packing, ensure the corners fit snugly into the chamber.
5. Adjust the packing gland to achieve the desired sealing tightness. Take advantage of the packing’s high resilience to balance sealing efficiency and friction levels. Avoid over-tightening, which could affect its elastic properties.
