Product Features
- Made from aramid material, this packing is lightweight yet high in strength, offering excellent wear resistance, high pressure resistance, and high temperature resistance, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
- With a precise square section of 0.79in×0.79in (20×20mm), it fits accurately into compatible equipment, guaranteeing optimal sealing performance.
- It is customizable in weight, with a minimum order quantity of 5 kilograms, providing flexibility to meet different application requirements.
- It exhibits resistance to acid, alkali, and corrosion, ensuring reliable sealing even in the presence of harsh chemical media. Additionally, it has high resilience, maintaining sealing efficiency over time.
- Its light yellow color allows for easy visual inspection, enabling quick identification of wear or damage in sealing applications.
- It is specifically designed for use in pumps, valves, rotating machinery, and media containing solid particles, and is suitable for fluids such as superheated steam, solvents, liquefied gas, and syrup that are prone to cavitation.
Usage Instructions
- Ensure the equipment (pumps, valves, rotating machinery) is shut down and isolated from all power sources before beginning the installation process.
- Remove the old packing (if present) and thoroughly clean the packing chamber to remove any debris, residue, or old sealing material.
- Cut the JIMING aramid packing to the required length, ensuring clean, square cuts for optimal sealing. Use appropriate tools suitable for cutting aramid material.
- Install the packing into the packing chamber, layer by layer, ensuring each layer is properly seated and aligned. For square section packing, ensure the corners fit snugly into the chamber.
- Adjust the packing gland to achieve the desired sealing tightness. Take advantage of the packing’s high resilience to balance sealing efficiency and friction levels. Avoid over-tightening, which could affect its elastic properties.
- After installation, conduct a leak test under operating conditions. Monitor the seal for any signs of leakage or abnormal operation. Adjust the gland as necessary during initial operation, especially when dealing with cavitating fluids.
Applicable Scenarios
- Pumps and Valves Handling Superheated Steam, Solvents, and Liquefied Gas
- Rotating Machinery in Industries with Solid Particle-Containing Media
- Equipment Handling Syrup and Other Easy-to-Cavitate Fluids
