Usage Instructions

1. Ensure the equipment (valves, pumps, reactors) is shut down and isolated from all power sources before beginning the installation process.
2. Remove the old packing (if present) and thoroughly clean the packing chamber to remove any debris, residue, or old sealing material.
3. Cut the JIMING graphite packing to the required length, ensuring clean, square cuts for optimal sealing. Use appropriate tools suitable for cutting graphite material.
4. Install the packing into the packing chamber, layer by layer, ensuring each layer is properly seated and aligned. For square section packing, ensure the corners fit snugly into the chamber.
5. Adjust the packing gland to achieve the desired sealing tightness. Graphite packing requires careful adjustment to balance sealing efficiency and friction levels.
6. After installation, conduct a leak test under operating conditions. Monitor the seal for any signs of leakage or abnormal operation. Adjust the gland as necessary during initial operation, taking care not to over-tighten which could cause excessive wear.
