Product Characteristics
- Material & Corrosion Resistance: Constructed from thick aluminum plate with anodized surface treatment, providing excellent corrosion resistance for long-term use in various industrial environments.
- Dimensions & Capacity: Hook diameter 1.52in (38.5mm), lock hole diameter 0.31in (8mm), holds up to 24 padlocks, enabling large-scale multi-person lockout management.
- Safety Mechanism: Prevents accidental activation of equipment during repair or adjustment, ensuring safety compliance during lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Unique Lock Hole Design: Ensures the hasp cannot be locked when in the open state, preventing improper use and enhancing security.
- Sliding Enhancement: Raised part of the hasp enhances sliding effect, allowing for smooth operation during the locking and unlocking process.
Usage Method
- Identify the equipment that requires lockout and determine the number of authorized personnel involved (up to 24).
- Slide the PROLOCKEY Hasp AH32 to the appropriate position and secure it to the equipment.
- Each authorized personnel inserts their respective padlock into the lock holes (up to 24 padlocks can be used).
- Verify that the hasp is securely fastened, padlocks are in place, and the equipment is in a locked-out state to prevent accidental activation.
- When the work is completed and it is safe to remove the lockout, all authorized personnel must remove their padlocks. Ensure the hasp is in the open state (cannot be locked when open) before releasing the equipment.
Application Scenarios
- Industrial facilities in sectors like chemical, electronic, petroleum, and coal implementing large-scale LOTO procedures for equipment maintenance, where preventing accidental activation is critical.
- Workplaces in flammable and explosive environments requiring robust, corrosion-resistant lockout devices for comprehensive safety compliance.
- Environments where multi-person lockout management for large equipment or multiple energy sources is necessary, ensuring all authorized personnel contribute to the lockout process.
