Product Characteristics
- Material & Durability: Constructed from iron with a powder coating, providing excellent durability, scratch resistance, and high visibility in industrial settings.
- Dimensions & Capacity: Hook diameter 1.5in (38mm), lock hole diameter 0.39in (9.8mm), holds up to 6 padlocks for multi-person lockout-tagout (LOTO) management.
- Anti-Opening Mechanism: Comes with an anti-opening lock to prevent unauthorized opening, enhancing security during LOTO procedures.
- Multi-Person Management: Six-hole design enables 6 individuals to lock simultaneously, facilitating collaborative control over the same energy source for comprehensive safety.
- Environmental Suitability: Designed for use in industrial, chemical, electronic, petroleum, coal, and flammable-explosive environments, meeting strict safety requirements.
Usage Method
- Identify the equipment or energy source that requires lockout and determine the number of authorized personnel involved (up to 6).
- Attach the PROLOCKEY Hasp Lock ESH02-H to the lockout point or equipment using the hook.
- Each authorized personnel inserts their respective padlock into the lock holes (up to 6 padlocks can be used).
- Engage the anti-opening lock to ensure the hasp lock is securely fastened and cannot be opened unauthorizedly.
- Verify that the equipment is locked out and cannot be operated.
- When the work is completed and it is safe to remove the lockout, all authorized personnel must remove their padlocks, then disengage the anti-opening lock and release the hasp lock from the equipment.
Application Scenarios
- Industrial facilities implementing LOTO procedures for machinery, equipment, and energy sources maintenance in harsh environments.
- Chemical plants, petroleum refineries, and coal mines where multi-person lockout and security against unauthorized access are critical.
- Electronic manufacturing sites and other environments where controlling access to energy sources by multiple personnel is necessary for safety compliance.
