Product Description
The AIWIN Engineering Safety Thin Shackle Plastic Padlock PLST38BKA is a specialized lock designed for lockout/tagout (LOTO) applications, featuring a thin shackle and keyed alike system. Constructed from durable engineering plastic and in black color, it is suitable for use in industrial, manufacturing, and maintenance settings to ensure equipment is safely locked out during servicing or maintenance, with the convenience of centralized key management.
Usage Instructions
- Insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it clockwise to unlock the padlock.
- Open the thin shackle and secure it to the energy-isolating device (e.g., a small switch, valve, or machine component). Ensure the shackle is fully engaged.
- Close the shackle and turn the key counterclockwise to lock the padlock. Remove the key after locking.
- To unlock, insert the correct key and follow step 1.
Product Characteristics
The padlock features a thin shackle (diameter 0.16 inch/4mm, height 1.5 inch/38mm) and a durable engineering plastic lock body (height 1.5 inch/38mm, width 1.57 inch/40mm), providing excellent durability and the ability to secure smaller or more precise energy-isolating points. The keyed alike system allows authorized personnel to open all locks in the system with a single key, simplifying key management. The black color provides clear identification in specific industrial scenarios. It is suitable for various precise lockout scenarios, ensuring safe isolation of equipment with centralized key control.
Application Scenarios
- Industrial Facilities: For locking out small machinery components, electrical switches, and precise equipment during maintenance or repair.
- Manufacturing Plants: For implementing LOTO procedures on production lines with smaller energy-isolating points.
- Maintenance Workshops: For securing small tools, equipment, and isolated system components during servicing.
- Any Environment Requiring Precise Thin Shackle Lockout with Keyed Alike Control: Where safety isolation of smaller or more confined equipment with centralized key access is necessary to prevent accidental operation.
